Converting Flac files

Postby archon.thelawgiver » Sat Jul 14, 2007 1:10 am

What app can I use to convert Flac files so I can then send them over to iTunes.

I have 10.3.9 loaded onto a G5 iMac. I have Toast 7x, Filp4mac to name a few but I'm getting mixed messages on the net. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Dear PMR,

Thanks mate, XLD worked like a trick. To be honest when I went to the site I had misgivings…the English explanation was a bit out there, but I thought what the hell, I'll give it a go. What an excellent little app. XLD is, I'd recommend it to all. Mate, if you're ever in Australia I owe you a beer.

FWIW...
Toast 8 lets you drop most audio files onto the window (including FLAC) and then using the 'export button' at the bottom it will convert out to a range of formats (flac/aiff/ogg etc...)

Little known and underused!
