Here's how to get MTR 6,
- AND how you'll register at the MTR Forum
If you've never used a license-based version of Mac The Ripper, or possibly never even $upported MTR, you'll have nothing to document your prior support of MTR and its development. Proof of Support is required three times in the below process. Don't expect to get anywhere without this Proof of Support.
No, this isn't your Grampa's free-download link, and the MTR Forums are not your Kid-Sister's social networking site. But there are now thousands of very satisfied MTR users who didn't mind following these directions. For more detail, refer to the text-based instructions below the graphic,
- •••••Gift Instructions•••••
The first step in obtaining MTR is to request Gift Instructions from the Developer (emteaarr@gmail.com).
The dollar amounts listed below are Gifts to the Developer, not for applications already produced, but by way of encouraging future development. Without such Gifts, further development of MTR ends.
NOTE: Providing gifts records is the responsibility of the user. The Developer is under no obligation to fill in the gaps in the user's records. (Also, PayPal transaction histories and the Developer's data base are iron-clad.)
If you want to make a Gift, Send an email to geezerbuttz (emteaarr@gmail.com) to request the Gift details.
- Why call it a Gift instead of a Donation?
- The word 'Donation' is inaccurate, as it implies that you are supporting a registered charity.
The intent of the word "Gift" is that you are supporting the further development of an application which DOES NOT SUPPORT DRM removal, contains NO CSS code, and in its delivered form cannot be used for DVD decryption.
At the current time Only PayPal can be accepted or used for payment.
When sending a gift to geezerbuttz, it should be sent as a Service Payment.
Do not send as friend or family.
For those upgrading from earlier version, the Gift size is as follows:
- • This Update Is Free To Lifetime License Holders Of The Application.
• The Update Is Also Free To License Holders Who Have A Valid Payment Made After (12/24/23).
• Those Who Falls Outside Of The Cut Off Date (12/24/23) , Will Be Required To Pay the Full Update Of 40chf
- THERE IS NO LONGER ANY CROSS GRADE FROM ANY VERSION.
- •••••Registration and Activation•••••
• You will receive an automated email from the MTR 6 forum "Welcoming" you.
• ACTIVATE your account within 7 days by REPLYING to our "Welcoming" email, attach a copy of your MTR license, put your username in the subject line and click SEND. This step from you is what triggers activation and the subsequent 2nd email that is mentioned in the initial "Welcoming" email.
• We will receive your reply, verify your license and activate your account.
I don't have a license but I have sent a gift previously. What do I do?
• In lieu of the absence of a license you can attach either an email from PayPal or Geezerbuttz showing the proof of support or a screen grab of your PayPal history page referencing the payment(s) made.
No exceptions - Just sending your PayPal transaction number will not suffice.
- •••••Obtaining the App and Forum Registration are completely separate functions.•••••
The Developer issues app installers and .lics. The Forum Admin handles forum registration matters (principally, activations). The Forum itself is the sole source for tech support, not the Forum Admin.
Do not bother the Developer with forum registration matters.
The Forum Admin may be contacted at "mtr.admin" <mtr4support@gmail.com> . Be forewarned, the Admin can tell whether you've read the directions. Also, anyone sending tech support issues to the Forum Admin will be referred to the Forum.
